1st Attempt – Lightning with Canon HF S100
This is my first attempt to use the Canon HF S100 during a lightning storm. I didn't achieve great results, but want to try it again.

DARPA's Hummingbird "Nanobot"
I came across this video of DARPA's new "Nanobot." It is based on the hummingbird model. While not quite as agile as a hummingbird, it is still very maneuverable.
F-22 Supersonic Vapor Cone
I found this photo on the Navy's website. This is a F-22 Raptor's vapor cone (Prandtl–Glauert singularity is the scientific name). It was taken during a supersonic flyby of the USS John C. Stennis in the Gulf of Alaska.
Tennessee Keeps Moving Backwards
Found out today that a new law in Tennessee went into effect July 1. Turns out now all counties are required to replace their voting machines with paper ballots. What a way to move backwards. Good job elected officials... whats next dipping our fingers in paint and leaving a fingerprint…
